Process Priority
Priority is functional:  bath is for a quick and efficient cleaning, meals are for feeding, etc. The priority is the baby’s learning. Bathing, feeding, diapering fulfill their purposes, but the duration of these activities is determined according to the child’s interest, to make the most from all natural development opportunities.
Qualification of Caregivers
Babies are changed, fed and bathed not by the educator, but by nannies and other employees. Bathing, feeding and diapering are done by a college level educator, trained in child development. Each child is taken care of by the same educator on all activities during the day.
Adult/Children Ratio
Up to 16 children (above 18 months) per nanny or assistant. Up to 4 children per 2 Educators, up to 18 months.
Up to 8 children per 2 Educators, above 18 months.
Curriculum
No curriculum, or adapted curriculum. Adoption of an internationally recognized curriculum, specially developed for 0-4 years old (Creative Curriculum).
Classroom use
Child stays in class most of the time. Child benefits from various ambients specially designed for stimulation.
Nurses
Presence of a high-school-level Nurse. Full time Registered Nurse (college-level).
Nutrition

Nutritionist elaborates weekly or monthly menu. Industrialized cookies, juices and other products.
Children eats what is chosen by the caregiver/assistant. Adapted Kitchen, with domestic appliances.

Full time Nutritionist, taking care of menus individually, directing educators and children, supervising food preparation and assuring the quality of the food.
Snacks, cookies and juices freshly prepared on the premises. Each child chooses the food among the healthy options presented on the hot and cold buffet, guided by the educator and the nutritionist. Specially designed Kitchen with professional appliances.

Bottle Preparation Unit
Adapted from domestic kitchen. Specifically built for this purpose, with hospital-level care. Positive Pressure System, that secures a contamination-free  environment through positive air pressure.
Building and Facilities
Adapted houses or schools, resulting on a less appropriate space, with stairs, rough floor and walls, dangerous corners, edges or reliefs. Building entirely conceived and built to suit children’s needs, as well as to remove the barriers for natural development opportunities. Building materials specially created to promote safety, comfort and well being. Ramps, Soft Floor, Heated Floor, etc.
Playground
Made for children up to 10 or 12 years old. Built of injected plastic or rough wood, with inferior finishing and safety level. European playground, the only one in Brazil, ergonomically designed for the proportions, interests and development needs of children from 0-4 years old. Built in stainless steel and wood with special coatings, according to international safety standards.
Educational Material/Toys
Inadequate, not up-to-date and incomplete. State-of-the-art, imported, fulfilling all international safety requirements, and specifically designed for the development stage of this age bracket.
Furniture
Projected for adults or children above 3 years old, adapted for younger children. American or European, fulfilling international ergonomic and safety requirements, specifically built for 0-4 years old.
TV Use
Commercial shows frequently shown. Children do not watch TV. Only educational videos, and very rarely.
Music
Commercial Songs. High quality songs of different styles and cultures, appropriate for children from 0-4.
Security
Doorman.

Security with staff of 3 people (Haganá, one of the top companies). Remote monitoring, access controlled by armored sentry-box.
Extensive cameras and alarms circuit.

Independent camera circuit for parents, available through the internet.

Air conditioning
Not available, or inadequate. All activity rooms have floor heating systems, which heat without drying the air.
Cold air provided by central system.
Cleaning
Domestic products and equipments, used according to domestic criteria.

Professional equipment and products, used by trained professionals, following hospital level procedures and routine.

Central Vacuum System silently vacuums all dirt, dust and dust mites through tubes in the walls to outside of the building, where the power unit is located. It is 5 times more powerful and does not return finer particles to the environment, avoiding allergies and respiratory problems.
 
Filtered water throughout the building, including taps and showers. Double filtration in the kitchen, bottle preparation unit and all activity rooms (Brastemp filters).
